The Executive Board has been following developments regarding the war in Ukraine with concern and endorses the position(opens in new tab) taken by the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences.
In our thoughts we sympathize with and support those directly or indirectly affected by the war. Where possible, we will offer help to our students.
Help for refugee students
Windesheim has 2 bachelor’s programmes fully taught in English: Global Project & Change Management and International Business. On top of that, we have a broad range of English taught short track programmes(opens in new tab) in various fields.
Refugee students who want or need help in choosing to study in the Netherlands can contact the Study in Holland network. They can contact them with questions about studying via info.ukraine@nuffic.nl(opens in new tab). These can be questions about, for example, admission, residence and study options.

Windesheim has highest satisfaction with studying with a support need
This year, Windesheim students are again the most satisfied with the facilities offered for studying with a support need. Once again, Windesheim has the best scores of all major universities of applied sciences on all nine themes.
Social innovation puts more focus on unknown talent
On Thursday 24 October Joost van der Weide will be inaugurated as UAS Professor of Social Innovation. In his inaugural address, he will discuss the opportunities offered by social innovation to tackle major social challenges.
