Menno Vos is professor of Lifelong Learning at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. Previously, he held positions such as associate lector of Social Innovation and HRM lecturer at Windesheim, senior researcher at the Institute for Integration and Social Resilience, and researcher at the University of Groningen.

Research Focus

In his research, Menno Vos primarily focuses on how organizations can encourage their employees to continue developing in the rapidly changing labor market. What does this require from all employees in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitude? How can an organization create a learning culture where learning becomes more natural? How can learning-work arrangements be developed where the workforce, education, and other relevant stakeholders collaborate more effectively?

Education

Menno Vos studied Social and Organizational Psychology at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and completed his PhD there in 2008, focusing on workplace diversity.

Research Experience

Menno Vos focuses on developing solutions that can be directly applied in practice. He frequently collaborates with other knowledge institutions and works closely with both the professional field and educational institutions to ensure that research findings are integrated into real-world applications.
