Employability in the age of AI mania
Get ready for a hands-on experience with the Blended Intensive Program: Employability in the age of AI mania!
In this unique project, you will collaborate virtually with students from universities in different countries, working together to tackle real-world challenges. Your team will select a company and develop strategic HR advice, identifying the future skills and qualities employees need to stay competitive in a world shaped by AI.
To support your ideas, you will dive into industry trends, do research, and conduct an interview with an expert for insider insights. Finally, you will bring it all together in a live presentation, showcasing everything you’ve learned. It’s practical, international, and your chance to stand out!
Teaching and learning
You will experience a dynamic mix of instruction, group discussions, presentations, and creative brainstorming.

Second-year students or higher in business, hospitality, or communication faculties.

Programme
Here’s the schedule for the virtual and physical meetings:
Virtual meetings
Kick-Off Meeting
- When: Friday 7 March 2025
- Time: 5:00 - 6:30 pm CET
- Focus: This session is all about getting started! You will meet your international teammates, do some icebreakers, sign the team charter, define roles, and cover any other business to set up a successful collaboration.
Technological Progress & Program Overview
- When: Friday, 28 March 2025
- Time: 5:00 - 6:30 pm CET
- Focus: In this meeting, we will dive into the evolution of technology and discuss past, current, and emerging trends shaping the global labour market and sustainable employability. We will also provide an overview of the physical week’s program.
Physical Meeting
- When: Monday 5 May – Friday 9 May 2025
- Focus: Hands-on activities, collaboration, and presentations—bringing all the virtual preparation to life in a week of in-person learning and teamwork.

Learning objectives
After completing this Blended Intensive Programme, you will be able to:
- Collaborate effectively in a multicultural (virtual) team
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of a business of your choice
- Assess a business environment, along with current technological (macro and meso) trends
- Formulate strategic recommendations tailored to your chosen business
- Present or pitch your findings to an audience unfamiliar with the topic
- Reflect on both your team’s performance and your individual contributions
- Engage in cross-cultural teamwork, including negotiations with a fictional business from another continent
