The main entrance and reception are located in Building H, which you’ll find on the south side of the campus.

The campus has limited car access. The entrance to the parking zone is on Burgemeester van Walsumlaan.
- There are a limited number of parking spots available on the ring road. Parking costs €3 per day. Each parking area has a few disabled parking spots, reserved for those entitled to use them. You may be asked to show your disabled parking permit.
- In winter, you can park at Dinoland (Willemsvaart 19, 8019 AB Zwolle), about a 15-minute walk from campus. A parking coin is available at Windesheim’s reception.
- It is not allowed to park in the surrounding neighbourhoods or on public roads (Campus and Burgemeester van Walsumlaan).
There are several charging stations on campus, each with two connectors for electric cars. You may only park here while charging. Charging stations are located at P1 and P4.
Public transport
Several trains and buses go to Zwolle station.
Plan your route by public transport (opens in new tab)The campus is a 15-minute walk from Zwolle station:
- Exit the station on the south side.
- Walk straight through the Stationspassage, then turn right onto Hanzelaan.
- At the SPAR, turn left to reach Lübeckplein.
- At the end of the square, turn right toward Koggelaan.
- Near the Open University Study Center, turn left onto Lünenstraat.
- Lünenstraat turns into Lünentunnel, then into Lünenpad. Keep walking straight.
- Then turn right onto Pilotenlaan, which becomes Burgemeester van Walsumlaan.
- You’ll find Windesheim University of Applied Sciences on your right.
You can also take bus 14 (Wkc Zuid via Schelle) from Zwolle station. Get off at the Burgemeester van Walsumlaan stop.
Bike parking
You can park your bike in several locations:
- Between Buildings E/F
- Next to Building D
- Across from Building X
- Next to Building S (sports building
Airport
Fly to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. From there, it's easy to continue your journey by train. The station is located right inside the airport. Trains to Zwolle run frequently, and the trip takes just over an hour.

You can park in one of the following locations:
- Hospitaalgarage
- Stadhuisgarage
- Hennepveld parking lot
Public transport
Several trains and buses stop at Almere Centrum station.
The Landdrost is just a 7-minute walk from the station:- Exit the station on the Stationsplein side.
- Walk straight ahead across Stationsplein into Stationsstraat.
- Near McDonald's, turn left to reach Stadhuisplein.
- Then turn right onto Bodestraat and walk past Stadspark Stadhuispromenade.
- At the end of the park, you’ll find the Landdrost building.
Alternatively, you can take bus M7 (Oostvaarders via Parkwijk) or bus M8 (Sallandsekant via Parkwijk) from Almere station. Get off at the Flevoziekenhuis Almere stop, the Landdrost is directly across the street.
Bike parking
You can park your bike in the covered bicycle shed on Hospitaaldreef. It’s located about 50 meters to the right of the main entrance to the Landdrost.
